Thinking of meeting friends in West Kent for NYE? Think again: every ICU bed in MTW was full every day from 20 Dec to 27 Dec. Chances are if you catch covid and need an ICU bed who will have to travel elsewhere for one. Situation also tight at Royal Surrey, SASH & East Sussex.

@TamaraMck14 @dmontfort Yeah we’d all be better now off if the NHS hadn’t suffered years of cuts. And I’d like to be in tier 2 too.
But.... if Pembury was full, my guess is most of us would still want our family cared for in another hosp somewhere (even if further afield)
