But for artworks (especially fanwork) where you're not sure if it's the character you're thinking of, it's best to just rt it and/or comment about it separately without notifying the artist.

@Nsfwabbit Best to just not notify the original poster when talking about smth not directly related to the topic; especially towards an artwork that the artist has put a ton of effort into. I hope I was able to put it in perspective. 🙏

caleb never missed a single milestone in his baby sister's life.

starting from her kindergarten graduation. her first basketball match. her first piano recital where she made a mistake and spent the rest of the performance crying while staring at where he sat. even her university entrance exams, where he became her only emotional support, waiting for her outside the building with gifts in hand.

she never notices how impossible that is until she's older. because sometimes he would arrive straight from work, running on no sleep. sometimes he'd leave immediately after her events ended because duty called him back. but he was always there.

when she asks him why, he shrugs, smiling at her silly question.

"because what if you looked for me in the crowd and i wasn't there?"
