According to recent reports, LTO chief, Atty. Vigor Mendoza II stated that the agency may soon impliment the requisite registration on all e-bikes regardless of its capability or type.

Mendoza added that 'regardless of the capability or maximum speed of e-bike, as long as it is used or ridden on a public road, it must be registered with the LTO and its operator as a valid driver's license holder.'
