WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND ACADEMY of SMC and ICT
I have covered roadmap how to Master SMC and ICT also.
The Casino is closed. The algorithms are offline. Saturday is the day a sniper cleans his rifle, studies the terrain, and reviews the intelligence.
You have realized by now that the market is not random. Traditional retail trading uses indicators (RSI, MACD, Moving Averages) which are lagging and designed to make you lose.
SMC (Smart Money Concepts) and ICT (Inner Circle Trader) strip all that away. They teach you to read the naked chart exactly how the institutional algorithms are programmed to deliver price.
Here is your classified glossary of the terminology, what it actually means on the battlefield, and your roadmap to mastery.
🏛️ PART 1: THE FOUNDATION (MARKET STRUCTURE)
The algorithm always moves in a structured sequence. You must identify the trend before you look for a trade.
BOS (Break of Structure)
Meaning: When the price breaks and closes past a previous high (in an uptrend) or a previous low (in a downtrend).
The Logic: It confirms the trend is continuing. The Smart Money is still pushing the gas pedal.
CHoCH (Change of Character)
Meaning: The very first sign that a trend is reversing. If price is making higher highs, but suddenly drops and breaks the last lower low, that is a CHoCH.
The Logic: The algorithm has shifted gears. The buyers are exhausted, and the sellers are taking control.
Premium & Discount
Meaning: The algorithm will never buy at the top or sell at the bottom. It divides every move into a Premium zone (top 50%) and a Discount zone (bottom 50%).
The Logic: You only look for Shorts in the Premium zone. You only look for Longs in the Discount zone.
🩸 PART 2: THE AMMUNITION (LIQUIDITY)
Liquidity is the absolute core of ICT. The algorithm needs fuel to move the market. That fuel is retail stop-losses. If you cannot spot the liquidity on the chart, YOU are the liquidity.
BSL (Buy-Side Liquidity)
Meaning: The pool of stop-losses sitting above old highs and resistance lines. (Because short-sellers place their buy-to-cover stops there).
SSL (Sell-Side Liquidity)
Meaning: The pool of stop-losses sitting below old lows and support lines. (Because long-buyers place their sell-stops there).
IDM (Inducement)
Meaning: A fake, early move designed to bait retail traders into entering a trade too soon.
The Logic: The Casino prints a fake support level, induces you to buy, and then crashes through it to steal your stop-loss before going in your intended direction.
Turtle Soup / Liquidity Sweep
Meaning: When the price momentarily pokes above BSL or below SSL to trigger the stops, but immediately reverses.
The Logic: This is the ultimate bear/bull trap. They "swept" the liquidity to fund their real move.
👣 PART 3: THE FOOTPRINTS (ORDER BLOCKS & IMBALANCES)
Once the algorithm sweeps liquidity, it leaves footprints showing exactly where it initiated its massive orders. These become our sniper targets.
FVG (Fair Value Gap / Imbalance)
Meaning: A 3-candle sequence where price moved so fast that it left a "gap" or empty space where buyers and sellers didn't trade fairly.
The Logic: The algorithm is a perfectionist. It hates empty space. It will act as a massive magnet, pulling price back to "fill" or "rebalance" that gap later.
OB (Order Block)
Meaning: The last opposite-colored candle before a massive institutional move that breaks structure (BOS) or creates a FVG.
The Logic: This is where the Smart Money injected billions into the market. When price returns to this block, they will defend it aggressively.
Breaker Block
Meaning: A failed Order Block. An old support level that the Smart Money smashed through, which now acts as heavy resistance.
YOUR ROADMAP TO SMC/ICT MASTERY
Becoming a master at this is not about learning 50 different strategies. It is about learning the algorithmic sequence and practicing extreme discipline. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Master Market Structure (Weeks 1-4)
Open naked daily and 15-minute charts. Do nothing but mark BOS and CHoCH.
Learn to correctly identify if the daily trend is bullish or bearish. Never fight the daily trend.
Step 2: Map the Liquidity (Weeks 5-8)
Stop looking for entries. Spend a month just identifying where retail traders are hiding their stop-losses (BSL and SSL).
Watch how the market behaves when it touches those pools. Notice how often a "breakout" is actually just a Turtle Soup sweep.
Step 3: Hunt the Footprints (Weeks 9-12)
Learn to draw valid Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) and Order Blocks (OBs).
The secret: An Order Block is only valid if it sweeps liquidity and creates a FVG. If it doesn't do both, it is just an Inducement trap.
Step 4: Time and Price Alignment (Months 4-5)
Algorithms operate on time. A perfect SMC setup at 12:30 PM (lunchtime chop) will fail. The same setup at 9:30 AM or 1:30 PM will fly. Learn the specific "Killzones" when volume is injected.
Step 5: The Sniper's Playbook (Month 6 and Beyond)
You do not need to know everything to make millions. You need ONE setup.
Choose one playbook (e.g., The Liquidity Sweep + Reclaim, just like I Post same boring thing). Backtest it 100 times. Forward test it with 1 lot. Master it until it is boring.
तो चलो एक ऱाज़ की बात बताता हूँ about making money.
Money is an energy which loves a certain vibrancy. I call that vibrancy as "ठहराव" !
Money does not like chaos. Money does not like fear, money likes clarity.
If you borrow money and trade, its difficult to be fearless.
If you trade on some one else's tips, by nature your are in fear.
Money loves clarity. You choose your own setup, stock. Do your own analysis, back it with your "fear free" risk capital. Then you are allowing money to come to you.
Money does not like the chaos of stoploss target etc. Money likes "ठहराव" !
ठहराव brings conviction to stand on your own view.
This is the way to success in stock market!
पसंद आये तो शेयर करना !
(I attribute large part of my success to my "ठहराव". I want profits but I don't want it in any hurry or with any fear ! )

The Anatomy of the Trap
🏛️ LESSON 1: THE LIQUIDITY MATRIX
Why the Market Actually Moves ?
Retail traders believe the market moves because of MACD crosses, RSI overbought zones, or trendlines. They are wrong.
The market is governed by big Institutions algorithm, and that algorithm only has two fundamental directives:
Seek Liquidity:
Hunt the pools of unexecuted orders (Retail Stop-Losses and Breakout Buy/Sell limits) resting above old highs and below old lows.
Rebalance Inefficiency:
Return to Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) to fill the empty pockets of air left behind by violent institutional displacement.
The Classroom Example:
Look at your charts , open the terminal check this . The algorithm left a massive void at 25,141 and an even deeper one at 24,984.
Why? Because they dropped the price so fast in early February that they couldn't fill all their orders.
The algorithm is magnetically drawn back to those exact coordinates to "balance the books" before it can initiate the next macro trend.
🕸️ LESSON 2: INDUCEMENT AND THE "JUDAS SWING"
The Smart Money cannot execute their massive positions without a counter-party. If they want to buy 100,000 lots of Nifty at 25,000, they need retail traders to sell them 100,000 lots at exactly 25,000.
How do they force retail to sell at the absolute bottom?
Inducement.
ICT calls this the Judas Swing—the fake move that betrays the masses.
The Blueprint:
Let's say Monday opens, and the price immediately drops aggressively toward our 25,109 trapdoor.
Amateurs will see the heavy red candles, panic, and mash the "Short (PE)" button, convinced the market is going to zero.
The Reality:
The algorithm is intentionally painting red candles to induce retail into shorting exactly into the 25,069 - 24,984 FVG we calculated.
The moment retail is fully trapped in short positions, the Smart Money buys everything, absorbs the liquidity, and violently reverses the market upward.
🔭 LESSON 3: HOW TO EXECUTE THE 1-HOUR ORDER BLOCK
Let’s talk about the 1-Hour Bearish Order Block (25,281 - 25,352) .
How do we actually trade it next week without getting chopped up?
We use the ICT Entry Model :
We do not blindly set a limit order at 25,281 and hope for the best. That is gambling.
Here is the professional SMC protocol:
We wait for the price to float up into the premium zone of that block (the 25,316 Mean Threshold we discussed). We let the amateurs buy this "breakout."
The Shift (MSS - Market Structure Shift):
While the 1-Hour chart is inside the block, we zoom down to the 5-minute chart. We do not touch the mouse until the 5-minute chart prints a violent structural failure—a massive red displacement candle that breaks a recent green swing low.
The Mitigation: The Smart Money has now shown their hand. We enter the Short on the minor pullback, placing our titanium stop-loss strictly above the top of the 1-Hour block (25,355).
🧠 LESSON 4: THE DOUGLAS PARADOX
We have the perfect structural map. We have the data. We know exactly where the traps are. But here is the ultimate lesson of the weekend, tying right back to the Mark Douglas 20-Trade Challenge:
Even with the perfect SMC map, the outcome of any individual trade is 100% random.
The algorithm should defend that 25,352 block.
The algorithm should sweep the 25,000 void and reverse.
But it doesn't have to.
If geopolitical news breaks over the weekend, which it has , Israel - Iran war or something just an example the algorithm might gap the market 300 points and shatter our Order Block instantly. That is why our execution needs to be perfect based on set rules.
In SMC, we do not trade to be right. We trade because the mathematical variables of our edge are present, and the Risk-to-Reward heavily favors us over a sample size of 20 trades.
Learning gives you edge and repost for more reach. Thanks for joining.

ALL GONE 💀
You have to stop treating it like a performance where you are trying to become the best version of yourself. It is not theatre. It is not self transformation day after day. You do it the way you brush your teeth. It is not about liking or disliking it. It is simply something you do.
The moment you frame working out as a heroic arc, you introduce emotion into it. Motivation, inspiration, identity, self judgment. That makes it unstable. Some days you will feel like the protagonist. Most days you will not.
But brushing your teeth requires no identity. No inspiration. No self analysis.
It is maintenance. When exercise becomes maintenance rather than self-improvement theatre, it becomes lighter. Less ego. Less pressure. Less evaluation.
at some point in life you reach an age where you start hearing celebrities names and have no idea who they are and it just continues to happen for the rest of your life
probably one of the softest, most tender ways to love someone
is simple curiosity
to love someone is to watch the movie they keep talking about
just to understand why matt damon matters to them
to love someone is to eat garlic bialy with oj in the morning
just to understand why they never get tired of it
to love someone is to sit with their favourite songs
and understand why there’s shrek on their playlist
love is wanting to understand the small things and see the world through their eyes

Explaining it again for the millionth time:
Guru Dronacharya was the royal teacher of the Kuru kingdom. He was bound by oath to teach the sacred art of war and archery only to the princes of Hastinapur or to those approved by the Hastinapur administration. For example, he taught Karna basic archery and war skills as well. However, Karna later left his ashram to obtain divine weapons (Divyastras/Brahmastra) from Parashurama. According to the rules and regulations, only royals and individuals entrusted with responsible decision-making were allowed access to such divine weapons, just as nuclear codes today cannot be shared with everyone, even in a democracy.
Eklavya, on the other hand, belonged to the enemy state of Magadh, where his father served as a commander in King Jarasandha’s army. Eklavya, by secretly learning the sacred skills of archery while hiding near the gurukul, was effectively acting as a spy for Magadh. The Kuru kingdom and Dronacharya showed remarkable leniency by only demanding his thumb to neutralize the skills he had acquired, whereas in most cases, spies caught stealing state secrets would face execution.
