When should you use Choreography for Microservices?

Yesterday, I showed 26,537 engineers in my newsletter the pros and cons of Orchestration and Choreography for microservices.

Choreography uses event-driven communication - as opposed to orchestration, which uses commands.

An event is something that has happened in the past and is a fact.

The sender does not know who will handle the event or what will happen after processing it.

The most important benefits of choreography are:

- Loose coupling
- Ease of maintenance
- Decentralized control
- Asynchronous communication

Choreography allows microservices to be loosely coupled, which means they can operate independently and asynchronously.

This makes the system more scalable and resilient.

A failure of one microservice won't necessarily affect microservices.

Top 4 Forms of Authentication Mechanisms

1. SSH Keys:
Cryptographic keys are used to access remote systems and servers securely

2. OAuth Tokens:
Tokens that provide limited access to user data on third-party applications

3. SSL Certificates:
Digital certificates ensure secure and encrypted communication between servers and clients

4. Credentials:
User authentication information is used to verify and grant access to various systems and services
