CHISPAD is a community managed and driven life skills development initiative using livestock as the entry point to generate income to support youths and adults.
In Chiredzi South, the yield will be reduced by these pests. Use of cabaryl was tried but was not effective. However, these can be controlled using Emamectin Benzoate when at nymph stages. The adult ones are difficult to eradicate.

We are 3 days away from the most anticipated 'ChiSPAD Advocacy and Sporting Event' to be held on the 26th of May 2022 at Chanienga Primary School. This event is proudly brought to you in partnership with Amen Academy.
Under @ZRBFZIM in Matabeleland we work with @apt_zimbabwe & @CtdtZimbabwe to transform communities like the Hauke Irrigation Scheme in Bubi. With support from @euinzim,@UKinZimbabwe & @SwedeninZW, the scheme invested in dairy production, reaping nutritional & financial rewards.
We are joining the world to commemorate #InternationalWomensDay. We are encouraging all women and girls to take up leadership roles in all ChisPAD programs. We also call out gender bias and inequality in Chiredzi South and the rest of the country.

Farmers in Chiredzi South are utilizing cornstalks to feed their cattle. Some of them are active members of ChisPAD in Tichadya, Muhlanguleni, Makambe and other centres in different wards. They understand that grazing a standing crop is an economical way to feed their heifers.
We continue to advocate for the girls’ rights to education and make sure that we support them. Our initiative has supported many young girls in schools in Chiredzi South. It’s important that we believe in the empowerment of the girl child to invest in a brighter future.

Our initiative has been taking a keen interest in the support of sporting activities for children in primary schools. We believe that this will help them realize and discover their talents. In fact, we have discovered so many young talents in Chiredzi South.
We established in 2018 as a community managed and driven life skills development initiative using livestock as the entry point. The initiative uses a group managed livestock production-oriented model to generate income required to support life skills development for youths.
