So we call the shelter. They are full and said to post on the local lost and found site maybe someone could help. Someone for the site gets a hold of the owner who says they are out of state nothing they can do.

The owner starts texting us again telling us we are over stepping just let the dog go. The dog will figure it out.

Came home from running errands today and a dog came up to us. Had a collar with 2 numbers called one and he said I no longer am the owner call the other number. Other number said oh I’m not in town right now. I’ll see what we can do. Hours later nobody has come for the dog.
