@JaeJaeykim2 @Shugars These are all fascinating questions! YouTube commenters are definitely far from the general population: The most recent Korea Press Foundation’s report—based on a probability sample survey—said only 3% of total respondents have commented on online video news platforms..

@JaeJaeykim2 @Shugars I'm planning to look at YouTube IDs who commented before and after Yoon's statement and see whether the channel they commented on & the comment's content changed (e.g., was mostly MBC but started to comment on Ch A). Hopefully this might help to ask your question later on!

@JaeJaeykim2 @Shugars there was no significant difference across libs/cons in posting more anti-feminist comments. (But this was also because people who write more pro-/anti-feminist comments mostly follow SBS/JTBC, which made the conventional partisan lines (e.g., JTBC vs. TV Chosun) less visible!)
