Disgusted at @FifeFlyers security tonight, having the audacity to question B’s medical needs or disabilities. I have no issue being questioned over a juice cup, but when the explanation was met with “I don’t believe you for one second” I draw the line. I shouldn’t have to explain, but most know B has had 17 (and counting) surgeries. He has an unsafe swallow, and has a designated cup signed off by our medical team. Please train and educate your staff on the disability/ discrimination acts please. Didn’t think we’d still have to talk about hidden disabilities in this day and age- never mind the fact it’s illegal to question it and to be told I am in fact lying! Please do better!
(For the record- B has been visiting Fife for 5 years and not once ever been questioned or made to feel the way we have tonight!)
