if you’re trying to figure out how you feel about someone, imagine that they’re walking down the street in a year and they’re holding hands with the person they love most in the world. now imagine that it’s not you.
boundaries and needs only scare off people not meant for you. even if you’re asking the wrong person, it’s an act of self love to make sure your needs are met and you owe it to yourself to communicate them. ♥️
also gentle reminder: someone can’t meet your need if they don’t they know what it is.
if you can’t communicate it, you’re not only denying your self but robbing them of the opportunity to rise for you. healthy relationships require vulnerability.
I think if someone comes to you and explains their trauma and tells you exactly what they need as a result of that and you know in your heart you can’t give it to them… you owe it to them to leave them the fuck alone.
to be blunt, if you want to learn who you are, embrace who you are. stop fucking running from it.
crack yourself open, listen, & practice radical acceptance. otherwise you’ll spend the rest of your life choosing an unauthentic one just trying to please others. you deserve better
to anyone trying to figure out their sexuality:
1. forever isn’t guaranteed regardless of gender.
2. I promise you, all that matters is whether you love someone, & whether they make you happy.
you will break hearts you shouldn’t have if you won’t accept these 2 universal things.
