If you don't know EXACTLY who you want to be and what you want to be doing in 5 years, you're already doing it.
Let that sink in.
If you don't know who you're trying to grow into, you're ALREADY who you're going to be in 5 years.
Are YOU good enough for YOU in 5 years?
As I got older, I realized:
1 lost money can be found; lost time is lost forever
2 learning to learn, and changing yourself is a superpower
3 you are not your job
4 networking is about giving
5 best teacher is your last mistake
6 good manners as important as good education
Start your week off with intention.
Set your weekly goals and make time everyday to work on them. The things that get scheduled are the things that get done.
We may sometimes feel that we can’t do much as individuals, but humanity is made up of individuals; we can make a difference. As individuals we can influence our own families. Our families can influence our communities and our communities can influence our nations.
We are not strong or weak. We are balanced. We must remain aware of the liabilities to all our strengths and find the opportunities in all our weaknesses.
7 Things to be happier:
1. Meditate
2. Be Kind
3. Buy experiences not things
4. Make your surroundings positive
5. Find something to look forward to
6. Physical activity
7. Do what you are best at
“There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life—happiness, freedom, and peace of mind—are always attained by giving them to someone else.” — Peyton C. March
Stop excusing yourself for being bad at things. You can be good at anything you are willing to set your mind to and practice (a lot).
“I’m just not good at X” means “I don’t care enough to become good at X”.
Be humble. You may be wrong.
Be kind. You may be remembered.
Be hard working. You may be luckier.
Be trustworthy. You may see further.
Be generous. Others may reciprocate.
Be curious. You may stay teachable.
Be forgiving. You may feel lighter.
Be yourself. You will be happier.
