If we’re honest, we don’t have an NHS anymore. Not a functioning one.
As an NHS doctor of almost 14 years I’ve never seen it in this state
Taxis replacing ambulances, patients using private care out of desperation, NHS staff leaving in droves
Really feels like now it’s over.
My Mam has been isolating upstairs with Corona so we’ve been bringing her meals, tea, etc. I woke up to this note from Dad making Mam sound like a family dog and I’ve been laughing ever since.
Today is Suicide Prevention Day. Almost 3/4 of deaths by suicide are men. If you feel hopeless and alone, you are not. Don’t be a part of the heartbreaking statistics, ask for help.

Yesterday was the second weekday in a row with no COVID deaths registered in Scotland. Right now, Scotland is beating this virus - but only through our collective efforts. So we must keep at it. COVID will surge back if we let it. So please keep following the rules #StaySafe 🙏
It’s so frustrating seeing the amount of people blatantly taking the piss with lockdown. Having to explain to my sister on ft (who has a severe LD) why she cannot leave her home and see certain family members is beyond heartbreaking and something nobody should have to experience.
