Mama, I’ve been taking ritalin for almost ten years and lemme tell you, ritalin takes at least an hour to kick in, peaks at around 2.5 hours and should last up to four.

The type I got prescribed is quick-release and is only meant to last a few hours. I had an online course I needed to catch up on.

Reminder: only a psychiatrist can prescribe this. And being medicated was my choice.
