@patrickklepek The two I think you’d dig and, more importantly, no long cut scenes:
Disco Samurai: Action beat-em + rhythm action game…Has a low-fi Hi-Fi Rush feel to it
Seafrog: Hoverboard platformer…Feels like a mix of Sonic and Oli Oli.
@patrickklepek Actually, those are all Klepek-core. For Cado, I'd go:
Tactical Breach Wizards: New joint from Tom Francis
Die in the Dungeon: Deck-building AND dice!
Arranger: Looks beautiful, but um...I think it's too hard for me.
Crush House: Play the camera man on a reality TV show
@patrickklepek Thought these would align with either you or Cado's interests:
Kill Knight: Blistering fast twin stick isometric shooter
Disco Samurai: Rhythm isometric beat-em up
Grunn: Horror gardening game from Sokpop Collective
Big Boy Boxing: Punch-out alike, very short
@SeanFennessey@VanLathan Squash this beef with a good old fashion crossover:
@SeanFennessey on the @RingerVerse to draft the most effective X-men field squad (including mutant circuits.
Then @VanLathan on the @TheBigPic to discuss if Shawn Levy is the 21st century Barry Levinson.
@charlesxholmes@VanLathan On the Ahsoka pod, y'all mentioned everybody looks like they're wearing cosplay. Look at Hera...Why is she wearing WWII flight googles all the time, including inside spaceships? She went to work and went to meetings wearing that shit!
@jowrotethis It’s less about plot details and more about emotional stakes. I have not seen any of the animated Star Wars show, so I don’t know who or what is an “Ezra.” Therefore, they’re just as much a macguffin as the map sphere. I’m not sure why I should care.
@roxana_hadadi Oh no…Is HBO Max bringing back the Disney Vault? Is this so they only have to pay streaming royalties for the window of time they make content available on the service?
@KyleFrancis I’m doing a From Software play through and just finished Dark Souls 2 after 130 hours. Seems like I’ll catch up with you on Elden Ring in 2044. I hope IGN will still accept my review.
@RingerVerse@MalloryRubin@jowrotethis@BenLindbergh Y’all usually do a great job highlighting creatives on the show, but you’ve skipped acknowledging the writers and artist of the comics like Fall Of Kyle Ren’s Charles Soule and Wil Sliney.
@brookeperrin Though my kids love the Croods, they have a few demands:
a) No body-switching episodes
b) More baby dinosaurs
c) Less dead dinosaurs
d) Awkward K-Pop needle drops
e) Helicopters...somehow...
AND CONGRATS ON THE GIG!
