@GoStros11@Astros_Coverage I’m gonna guess you didn’t hear about what happened with him. There was a collision while he was fielding a couple days ago, so that’s why he is sore in the neck and being given more time.
@JunoVero@TheAstrosLocker Pearson is on rehab assignment and Giolito is a Padre. I’m assuming you meant Jason Alexander who would probably help a little but really not as much as the team needs I’d say
@bryankinglover@astros Seems there are a number of IL guys working out at Daikin today. Maybe they're just doing a general testing day on them. Imai, Brown, and Meyers are also doing some workouts even if they're not pictured here. Guessing Sousa is healthy enough to be involved in the main workout
@Collin_TheGame https://t.co/ktbhA2m4A1 figured I’d come back to link this here. It’s so funny how we highlight the insane overreaction everyone had with just the first 2 games and then look at things now lol. The “what have you done for me lately” stuff in sports drives me crazy sometimes 😂
@Collin_TheGame Hardly actively looking much on social media when it comes to Astros these days cause of how insufferable a lot of the fans are. Feels like it keeps getting worse too. Feel like when the team is struggling is when they really need the fans, but then you see fans get worse instead
@Oswald65819686@HanchoJackHTX@SleeperAstros@Chandler_Rome If Pena wants to stay then Boras isn’t stopping that as shown by Altuve. But not many players got the perspective Altuve did where Astros were the only team to actually believe in him and let him show what he could do.
@Oswald65819686@HanchoJackHTX@SleeperAstros@Chandler_Rome Likely result of combination of his rising star outlook and his relationship with Correa if I had to guess. Oh and that he’s the agent that gets you the big money. That one probably helps lol
After ~13.5 years with my lovely cat, she’s crossed the rainbow bridge. She’s been dealing with health issues that just wouldn’t improve despite treatment attempts. The difficult decision was made to put her to rest. I miss her so much already, but I know I gave her so much love.
@TYSONCOPSEY@Royals I believe he tore his Achilles so he’ll miss this year. Likely formality to keep close tabs on his recovery process and be familiar with how everything went instead of going in blind the following season.
@Collin_TheGame I’ve seen that more than I should. Both are lefties, but Loperfido is easily better for years of team control. Also pretty stoked to get him back. The fact Toronto took on all of Sanchez’s money was pretty big too, but it appears they really needed a guy that can mash righties
