i genuinely believe those people just aren't able to comprehend the life lessons/themes that korra presents throughout the show. The show tackles so many obstacles that can be seen as lessons that Aang never went through in ATLA but we get to experience through Korra.

You’re not recasting Chadwick, you’re recasting BLACK PANTHER. The first mainstream black hero AND civil rights icon. Boseman’s own family approved a recast, his writer and artists want him recast, Boseman stated he wants Black Panther to be treated like Spider-man and Batman.
As more and more beloved shows are brought back, more and more people will realize that TV animation has taken a huge hit in quality in the last few years. You just didn't realize because it wasn't YOUR show that had started to look worse yet.
