The chocolate path: a much loved foot and cycle path along the new cut in Bristol. Neglected by the council and closed for 299 weeks from Dec 2017 to Sep 2023.
The Chocolate Path is due to open by 5pm today after being closed since 2017. I can exclusively report that the railings are being painted this morning.
🌉 Gaol Ferry Bridge re-opens in 24 hours’ time: 5pm on Friday, 8 September
🍫 The Chocolate Path will be fully reopened by 5pm tomorrow too, with Cumberland Road already open
👷 Thanks again to local residents and businesses for your patience during these major repair works
Last month Bristol City Council set a 'definitive date' of today, for the reopening of @chocpath, which has been closed since December 2017.
You will NEVER guess what....
