अब हिसाब सिर्फ उनका नहीं, उनके साथ देने वालों का भी शुरू होगा।

कुछ चार लोग चूहों की टोली का समूह बनाकर दूसरों पर उंगली उठाने निकले थे,
बेहतर होता पहले अपने ही गिरेबान में झांक लिया होता…
क्योंकि दीवारों के भी कान होते हैं,
और सच रास्ता खुद बना ही लेता है।

वह चार चूहे और उन चूहों का राजा जो अपने आप को बाज कहता है इस बात में उलझे हैं कि खबर पहुँची कैसे…
काश उतनी ही मेहनत रिश्ते बनाने में की होती,
तो बातें होने के बाद नहीं,
होने से पहले ही समझ आ जाया करतीं।

ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਜ਼ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਨੇ,
ਉਹ ਅਕਸਰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਉਡਾਣ ਉਚਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਾਬੂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਪੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ,
ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਔਕਾਤ ਸਾਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ
ਕਦੋਂ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਦੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਦਿਖਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਖੇਡ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ,
ਉਹ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣ… ਖੇਡ ਪਲਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਦੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ।

ਤੇ ਆਖ਼ਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ…….
ਘੁੱਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਟ ਸਮਝਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਗੱਲ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ,
ਜਦ ਉਡਾਣ ਬਦਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ…
ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਥਾਂ ਲੱਭਣੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
