New #ChoiceScript parser is starting to take shape. It should be much, *much* better at spellchecking the right things. It can also point out some common syntax errors (missing brackets, quote marks etc)!π§
@LarryBehrendtII Do you mean something like...
*create_array [size] [default_value] ?
If so, 100% agreed!
Although it would be better if this was added directly to #choicescript by @choiceofgames.
Just had some inspiration regarding a feature enhancement request from the forum. Sometimes even the smallest touches can make a big difference. I really like this one.
What other minor improvements do you think CSIDE could benefit from?
@GreekWinter@choiceofgames Hey Jeffrey!
There is an option for selection matching in the Settings tab (though off by default). You can also increase tab size, but it only applies if you're using tabs as your indentation unit. Do you have a use-case for increasing tab size with space-based indentation?
Happy New Year Everyone!
Any new year's resolutions involving #choicescript? If so, take a look at our first article of 2019 and get an idea of what you can expect to see from CSIDE in the coming months.

@Orinks Hi Josh. Accessibility is improving slowly. For example the next update should include more accessible notifications. We also have an accessible branch, which should be merged back in time. It may be a while before we can claim 'full' accessibility though.
I'll aways be grateful to @choiceofgames for their Hosted Games brand which gave me the chance to publish my first IF. Also am grateful for @CareyWilliamz and his wonderful @ChoiceScriptIDE which makes writing IF a LOT easier.
Had a great talk with @CareyWilliamz about @ChoiceScriptIDE his amazing free tool for coding Choicescript games. He's looking into adding a few enhancements so writers like me can have an easier time testing.
@Orinks The only difference is that you'll download the app (same as before), but with an accessible version included by default. Once the accessibility standard is high enough, it'll be merged back in.
@Orinks Hi Josh, not yet. Ultimately the accessibility branch will be merged into the standard versioning. We're working on an installer for the accessible patch, with an accessible update channel.
We just had a critical bug reported affecting all current versions of CSIDE. Hot fixes are available and should be downloaded from your chosen update channel ASAP. Please see: https://t.co/XSI82smhCb for updates and more info!
