Started following this club 12 years ago because I was living in Europe and needed a team to support on weekends. Never imagined I’d fall in love with them as much as I did, or actually go to matches at the Emirates. Just a surreal moment to see this finally happen.

My lovely wife walks in this AM with her daily Amazon delivery. I jokingly ask what it is. “A new #GoBlue sweatshirt for you.” Open it up and sure enough it’s a sharp looking crew. Then a bunch of papers fall out.

@mpetrella At first I thought they were being cute and using the logo font for the first letter of a word, and then any letter that followed in the word that was part of “Detroit Red Wings” they also went with that font. But seeing an “M” in the font rules that out…
