@glitchchilla @FurryTMZ You do realize a lot of Ren Faires and the campsites for most guilds have their own fantasy roleplays/fetishes? It’s a lot of leather and adult-oriented jokes with booze involved lol. Fursuiters mainly go as a form of cosplay and fun for these events.

@FennecGlow 72hrs of labor is intense lol. I’m not asking makers to hurt themselves physically or mentally to finish within a small time period. But realistically with 5-6hr work days 4-5 days a week with weekend & lunch breaks; doing them full time is a realistic expectation.

In the big 2026, I’m outraged fursuit makers can run off so easily w/ huge amounts of money and not complete owed work within at least the 6-month PayPal Refund period. This should be a standard with all the bs people have been through in the past. Makes all of us lose trust.

@PeskyBaphie MeowWare has literally run off scotch free with $85k worth of owed fursuits. Multiple makers I’ve worked with who ran off with my money and no fursuits after 6yrs+ waiting. Clients have no protection of their money after the PayPal refund period. It sucks.

@PeskyBaphie It’s moreso this has been an ongoing issue with fursuit makers delaying suit coms and spending thousands of dollars going to cons and free time vs working on fursuits within a reasonable pace.

If you can’t handle running a business, don’t make it your man hustle. I’m sorry. Or be willing to offer 100% refunds for holding a client’s money hostage.

Even with complex fursuits I know a lot of makers on average can finish a fullsuit within 2 months if only focusing on one. Considering the avg price of fursuits now, it’s a decent living wage without overwhelming yourself to take on more during that time period.
