It was pouring down rain during our ribbon-cutting welcoming @PolliNatives to Converse but that didn't stop our city leadership! We wanted to celebrate a must-visit native plant nursery which has become a destination for plant lovers.

The Converse EDC Board of Directors and staff attended Sales Tax Training on Friday. This training, offered by @Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) , educates boards, staff, and elected officials on the proper uses of sales tax dollars.

We held a ribbon-cutting event for University Health for their new primary care clinic to Converse. Located off Crestway near Wal-mart, their new clinic will fill a need in our community by providing primary care services, including maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk women.
Get ready Converse! The Grand Opening for our city's first plant nursery is set to open on September 1st. @PolliNatives specializes in native plants that will beatify your garden and help our ecosystem. Let's give them a warm welcome.
