@skjultster As a former news pilot and newscaster this is not an unusually dangerous line of work. Will drones replace the remaining news copters? For sure. Mostly because of cost. I think the last fatal news copter accident was in Phoenix 20 years ago.

In those days you served the crappy wine after the guests got loaded on the good stuff and can’t discern the difference

@lippyent 1974 was the last year the El Dorado had round headlights. 8.2 liter engine getting 8 MPG. I drove one in high school. The thing handled like a boat. It was front wheel drive also. Loved that thing.

@CynicalPublius The outrage by the left really underscores the severe cultural divide of those who served versus those who never did. Steak and lobster meals were not only a staple on deployments but also after successful gunneries and field exercises. Hegseth understands good food=good morale
