@CactusFuturist Yup, the Ascension point is really valid. Somehow, there are some tasteless apes who will argue that this isn’t an issue, when it’s truly immersion-breaking. I really don’t get why they fucked up this hard with anything non-environment-related.
@McBigSlaw@DogParkSandbox@AggrendWoW It's true for the zone, and that's it. There are a bunch of retail backported models coming into the game, along with new tier sets and gear. Besides having slightly lower-res versions, they still stand out compared to the original material. Also, there's still no SD skyborn.
@DogParkSandbox@AggrendWoW Well, at least it looks like it belongs in Classic compared to the upcoming batch of weapons/gear coming with the new level 60 content.
@innxcence_ Seeing people still arguing about mob tagging when it’s only really an issue on launch day, until you get out of the baby zone, just shows how clueless some of them are. We should gatekeep those apes from being able to give any form of feedback.
@innxcence_ “They aren’t listening to the Classic or retail community.” Lmao, why do tourists keep pulling takes out of their asses? Every major WoW Classic content creator has been closely involved with the game’s development. Classic + exist because of classic andies.
@D0ubtfulX@TheoryWiseOS Probably the most voiced concern by the classic community regarding Forever, you're the one trying to make your thought a monopoly, smooth brain modern = better by default take, meanwhile preserving the aesthetic of the game you want to expand on is a pretty grounded take
@TheoryWiseOS Wait till you see the Ruins of Lordaeron. Shit feels like it was there the whole time. The people who worked on the new dungeons/zones just get it. Absolute peak.
@Trencheiro Mob tagging is only an issue in the baby zone on launch day. After that, you’ll rarely, if ever, waste any time fighting over it. It’s really an issue that isn’t much of an issue. But apparently, that’s already too much for modern TikTok brains to handle.
@TheoryWiseOS@D0ubtfulX Talking about WoW or any original material belonging to the Warcraft IP and saying that its art style isn’t what made it popular is a level of cluelessness I’ve never seen before.
@xerwo Mob tagging is only an issue in the baby zone on launch day. After that, you’ll rarely, if ever, waste any time fighting over it. It’s really an issue that isn’t much of an issue.
@TheoryWiseOS You have no idea how hard I went on X and Reddit these last couple of days, ranting about this shit. Although there are a lot of people who think like you and me and see what's wrong, there are also a bunch of people who aren't bothered at all by this shit
@TheoryWiseOS The most frustrating part is that we know they can replicate the OG art style. We saw some sick takes from random artists less than a day after BlizzCon, and somehow they went with the full giga-generic retail aesthetic route. We really were this close to getting peak WoW.
