Lost in 2020:
Free movement
Frictionless trade
Erasmus
Access to Galileo systems (that we helped set up btw)
Access to single energy market
Removal of roaming charges
Recognition of qualifications across EU states
Pet passports
Remind me again what we gained?
@wesstreeting Labour MPs should look outside the W/minster bubble and think about what the public and opposition parties will say about a new PM mid term:
The public: didn’t we leave this annual change of PM behind when we got rid of theTories!
The opposition: a new PM means we need a GE now!
@wesstreeting The people of Makerfield must be thrilled to have their MP resign creating an unnecessary by-election so Burnham can run with the specific intention not to devote himself to the constituency but to try to become PM.
Please take a look at the video below of someone stealing one of our collection pots in our local indian in Bath. The owner is mortified there are some disappointing people in this world. All we are trying to do is support young people with cancer 🙏

@ChristinsQueens@sarahdiaryz So looking ahead, at some point in the future, the King and Queen won’t be able to have a family holiday with all their children outside of Denmark without asking Joachim to come back from the US?
Former PMs can claim up to £115,000 p.a to cover office/secretarial costs arising from their position in public life. Truss claimed £23,310 between resignation in Nov ‘22 & March ‘23. In ‘24/25, she claimed £97,152. Is she using our taxes to spout lies about the UK in the USA?
Women are at serious risk when staying at @TravelodgeUK. The hotel staff who gave a man a key to a woman's room at 3am were apparently following security procedures 'correctly' which beggars belief since:
❌She was checked in as a single woman.
❌They didn't phone her to check if he really was her boyfriend and welcome in her room.
❌They didn't accompany him to the room and knock.
❌They gave him a key card because he knew her name.
After he let himself in and sexually assaulted her, Travelodge offered her a £30 refund.
This is even more horrifying since it is not the first time this has happened. James Cox was convicted in 2025 of raping a woman in a Travelodge in Liverpool. You might think Travelodge would have instigated better security after such an incident, instead it seems to be aiding and abetting sex offenders. https://t.co/nbW0ssFBP2
