Day 23 of Liv’s Birthday Month.
Liv always dreamed of going to Space Camp. In June 2022, we were fortunate to attend a family weekend at the Aviation Challenge, made possible by the Cosmic Scholarship. Both Liv and Abby had an absolute blast. Liv longed to return, but we were never able to find the right summer or week for her to go back.
A few months ago we attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Inspiration4 training center. She would have loved every activity in that building. Instead, her memory will live on there.
In a few weeks Abby will attend Space Camp, and it hurts knowing she will experience something Liv never got the chance to do. It feels that way with so many things.
Hopefully her memory will continue to inspire more kids to dream big, just as she did. 🚀
Liv's Birthday Month - Day 22
In August of 2023, Liv was finally granted her Make-A-Wish.
When she sat down with her wish granter, Liv shared that her biggest dream trip had already come true with Inspiration4, so she wanted to donate her Make-A-Wish. Her real top wish was to team up with an HGTV designer to remodel a kids’ playroom at St. Jude. But as anyone familiar with Make-A-Wish knows, the foundation ultimately decides how the wish unfolds.
What Liv received was a meet-and-greet with a couple of HGTV stars in Los Angeles. She was disappointed, it wasn’t what she had hoped for, but she agreed to go through with it. We were required to sign an NDA, so we are not allowed to share any photos or details of that wish.
The moment we learned we’d be in LA, I reached out to a friend at SpaceX to see if we could squeeze in a tour for Liv. By the time our plane landed, the date and time were already confirmed.
The second we pulled up to SpaceX, Liv’s whole face lit up. I can still picture her excitement like it was yesterday. During the tour, we sat inside the crew training capsule. While Liv was sitting in it, they surprised her with Asteroid—her own creation. It was the first time she’d ever seen one of the samples in person. She opened the pouch and tears streamed down her face. I cried right along with her. In that moment, something she had dreamed up had come to life.
We will forever be grateful to every single person at SpaceX who made Liv feel like an absolute VIP that day and every tour after that. She even has her own VIP badge.
I can only imagine the joy she would feel knowing that Asteroid is now the official mascot. She would be so proud. ❤️ @SpaceX
$ASTERIOD Update:
The channel was respected a 300% move from the low after the SpaceX IPO pump + Asteroid confirmed mascot (plushy restock on official merch website). No channel breakout in these bear market conditions however.
The good news:
Vibes are returning to ETH — Robinhood chain memes running to millys, CASHCAT peaking over $200m MC aka. ETH liquidity is sitting idle and waiting to deploy. Not to mention the amount of ETH holders that didn’t bridge over.
ANSEM running to $450m MC was the first major sign that demand for memes is far from dead, everyone is just waiting for a narrative to ape.
ETHBTC relative strength while a tonne of bullish ETH fundamental news (tokenisation, L2s, institutional demand, chain upgrade, etc) is brewing and setting the stage for possible out-performance in the next bull run. If ETH bros make money, the flow down to higher risk beta is a natural sequence.
Honourable mention to dog coin buyers, specifically DOGE, SHIB and FLOKI who could see ASTERIOD undervalued in bullish market conditions and quite simply buy because they like dog coins + Elon (ofc there’s a chance Elon also drops a mention of Asteroid in honour of Liv).
NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13, currently targeted for mid-to-late September 2026. Perfect opportunities for zero-g indicator moments, crew photos/videos featuring the plush, and live broadcast highlights — exactly how Asteroid first gained fame on Polaris Dawn.
As a major NASA rotational flight to the ISS, it will have broad media coverage (NASA streams, news outlets, social amplification). Asteroid’s status as the official SpaceX company mascot makes inclusion highly plausible for morale or symbolic purposes.
Price is down 90% from ath. The risk reward is very favourable in this $20m MC range (and looks “cheap” relative to ath and against other hot memes).
27k holders (steady growth) and holding strong while the impatient sell to the patient. Imo it’s holding up very well given the split of attention + capital flowing to Solana and RH chain over the past month. Also no cabal/ insiders controlling supply giving this a real chance for healthy organic growth in the future.
The bad news:
It could be a long road before the next major move (mid-late September) but that’s if we don’t see people start to front run the SpaceX Crew-13 launch. Time-based capitulation is real so it will be a test and there are some major levels to hold but if it can, it offers one of the best ETH chain memecoin RR’s that I’ve seen since PEPE.
No idea if it can pull a PEPE or the several other $1b MC meme runners we’ve seen over the years but I guess anything is possible when the stars align.
Some dreams were always meant to reach space.
Asteroid was never just a mascot.
It's proof that hope can outlive us, dreams can travel farther than we ever will, and stories can inspire people we'll never meet.
Keep telling the story.
Asteroid. 🚀🐕✨
It reminds us that the dreams we chase aren’t just about reaching farther—they’re about becoming something greater than ourselves.
So keep looking up.
Because every giant leap humanity has ever taken began with someone who dared to imagine reaching the stars.
$ASTEROID plush still sold out on SpaceX's official store, but the listing stayed live. That's real consumer demand on a platform normies actually trust, not Discord hype or influencer shills.
ETH dog memecoins hit billion-dollar valuations when the rotation comes. This one sits at $33.22M with SpaceX distribution already proven.
The gap between here and multi-billion is the entire upside. #Crypto
$SPCX took a 7% dip yesterday. ethereum:0xf280b16ef293d8e534e370794ef26bf312694126 SHIBA took a 3% dip. It’s a good sign the memecoin is following SpaceX. Liquidity is still above $1.7m. It’s time to accumulate.
When We Look Up at the Stars
Throughout human history, every time we've looked up, the stars have been there.
Thousands of years ago, we navigated by the night sky, following the North Star to find our way home and weaving myths around the Milky Way. Today, we peer billions of light-years into the universe through powerful telescopes, launch rockets beyond Earth's atmosphere, and send probes to worlds that once existed only in our imagination.
Technology has transformed the way we explore the universe, but it has never changed the feeling we have when we look up at the stars.
Space is the farthest place we can reach, yet somehow the closest place to our dreams.
Out there, there are no borders, no languages, no wealth, no prejudice. From just a few hundred kilometers above Earth, every conflict seems insignificant, and every line we've drawn across the planet simply disappears. Astronauts often say that the moment they truly see Earth from space, they realize that humanity has always shared a single home.
Perhaps that's what makes space so extraordinary.
