I need some actual definition of what you’re calling Generation Jones. As in: what time period was this previously undiscovered generation born?
According to the US Census Bureau, Gallup, Pew Research and really every organization studying segmentation in social science, the commonly used birth year ranges are:
Silent Generation — 1928–1945
Baby Boomers — 1946–1964
Generation X — 1965–1980
Millennials (Gen Y) — 1981–1996
Generation Z — 1997–2012
I don’t see any room in there for your Gen Jones discovery.
Secondly, esch of these generations have unique experiences and characteristics that set them apart. They have recognizable differences . They each look, act, speak differently. They have different values, fashion, music, film, writing, politics, entertainment and celebrities. They respond differently to messages from industry, entertainment and the government.
In short, they are different. Otherwise, what’s the point of segmenting us into groups … to make us feel special? Without any real differences?
Nothing you have said that your Gen Jones went through is any different than what Baby Boomers went through. Industrial to Computer age, rotary dial to smartphone, all of it.
So what are
What we said in the 60's. Again in the 80's, as computers entered our lives. Again in the 90's, when the internet entered our lives. You get the drift here ...
I believe everything you say or at least I believe you believe everything you say.
But. How do you and/or Mr. Wonderful account for all the destruction of DOGE? You can say words about all the cost savings but those words need to be supported by actual facts. Which I’ve yet to see. Have you? Has anyone?
Up until the carnival sideshow Elon began with Trump, I held him in nearly as high regard as you do. That was then. Maybe you’ve noticed the steep decline in Tesla sales and new products over past 3 years? Or were your assertions only covering history up to the Twitter takeover?
@puckempire GTF out, Patel. We're paying you to party? Like you have nothing better to do? Shouldn't you be planning more election controls to make sure your boss and party survive this fall?
