@NUCLRGOLF This post taught me that no one in the comments knows how to properly set a ball after marking. So many people don't understand what a 1/2 inch gap is. You don't measure the gap from the center of the golf ball, you measure it from the bottom of the ball where it touches.

@chunk_n_run @NUCLRGOLF No it isn't. Its clear as day to see. You don't look for distances, you look for a gap between the marker and where the ball touches the ground. If she's saying 1/2", she's saying there was a half inch of grass between the two. That's obvious to spot from anyone next 2the golfer

By the way there are exhibition events on the PGA tour with no cuts. The fancier name is "tour elevated events".
