Spending New Year’s Eve in the hospital came with heavy realizations. When you’re less fortunate, you learn to wait for care, to be patient even while suffering, because you can’t demand urgency.
I am grateful, dear Lord, for the life You give me every day.
But sometimes I wonder, am I being ungrateful, or is it a sin, to admit that life’s challenges feel so heavy that no longer want this life?
Looks like 2025 won’t end the way I hoped, still in debt, still healing, still tired.
Some days, I want to rest forever.
But I’m still here, protecting that tiny spark of hope.
