@iowahawkblog@ObiKhan1962 Obviously.
This isn't prospecting gold. NFL execs can't pick good college players after watching 4 years of tape on them, what makes you think college coaches can based on limited high school tape? IU had the bag and got lucky with the right players.
@MikeNellis Oh, so NOW CNN is worried about a sitting presidents health. Got it.
I don't even like Trump, but the duplicity is nothing short of hilarious.
@stevemagness A guy I work with (who's 50+) played baseball at Oklahoma. He says he walked onto the field freshman year, took one look around, and knew he was at the highest level of play he was ever gonna make it. You either got it or you dont.
@StumpGuyTy Between rec spring ball, all stars in the summer and rec fall ball, your kid can stay plenty busy. Couple it with a professional coach twice a week and he'll get great growth at a much lower cost than Travel. Plus he gets to play with school friends instead of randos.
@coachvint Eh, it's like taking your kid to Disney. You dont do it for the kids, you do it for yourself. That's exactly why parents do it with a few exceptions. Most kids in travel ball would be perfectly happy in rec if their parents steered them that way.
@SmashingZwan@EmmyWanKenobi I own 4 cars, work on the opposite of the city and make the drive every day, voted red in almost every election, and I think it's ridiculous that we don't have a half decent mass transit system.
@NoNameGirl8686 I'm not going to say drop the avocado toast and you can buy a house, but two doordash meals can be replaced with grocery meals and you have the money to go to the movies. Come on.
@anymanfitness Frankly, school team sucks. If you want to actually get better in your freshman/sophomore years you have to play travel on top of high school ball.
