@caitecassidy Sad state of affairs - the general populace and governments are just going to ignore the problem now. Is there even a political party advocating for common sense covid polices anymore?

As one critic recently noted on Twitter, the world has divided into two groups of people: “Those who already realize that SARS-CoV-2 causes neurological, vascular and immune system damage… and that damage from reinfections is cumulative. 2) Those who are about to find out.”
Since the start of the pandemic I've tried to avoid catching covid. Because Australia has abandoned most public health measures, this means I've had to avoid indoor spaces for months. My friends and colleagues seem to find my caution odd, but this is why I feel it's important: /1

More than two months after COVID, I still experience symptoms that interfere with my day-to-day life. I am triple vaccinated and could not imagine what would happen if I wasn't. Not all of us experience only mild illness. Please do not be complacent. The pandemic is not over.
