@KarlTurnerMP@jreynoldsMP@andyburnham You talk about mental health, then spend half your time on twitter & in the media launching public personal attacks on people…..maybe just focus on getting better
@davidyelland You can wear t-shirts, make teenage scally jokes, avoiding scrutiny as an unelected leader, in power because a small political cabal engineered it, is still exactly what it looks like.
@KiMcGuinness@andyburnham Who exactly is taking control Kim? Burnham has no mandate for these ideas, however laudable they sound, he’s avoided the scrutiny of a leadership contest & avoids media scrutiny. He’s taking control very literally.
@BethRigby I want the maximum devolution possible without breaking up the UK, but I do not want central government anywhere other than in the capital looking outwardly at the world, not in Manchester looking at the price of bus tickets.
@KiMcGuinness@andyburnham No matter how laudable the idea, the concept of an unelected PM, with no mandate for his policies beyond a few hundred labour MP’s, who avoids media scrutiny, taking control is deeply disturbing. You’re all becoming more Trumpian by the day.
@RichParkerLab The irony of a career politician claiming to be the man to rewire British politics, when his only mandate is from a few hundred Labour MP’s & his route to power is only possible in the current political system seems to be lost on you. A Trump in progressive clothes.
@BethRigby Says the guy who’s only mandate comes from around 1-200 Labour MP’s & who’s rise to power is only possible because of the existing political system.
@BethRigby Big ideas, no election, no leadership race, no questions answered…unelected, no scrutiny allowed & he talks about doing politics differently….
@paulmasonnews An aversion to scrutiny is an aversion to scrutiny no matter how clever it is or well intended the ideas being protected are. This is looking more & more a very Labour, very British coup.
