@RobbieBarstool Prob the best Netflix show they have ever put out. Just absolutely amazing, so well written with great characters all intertwined. Highly recommended!
@BillyReinhardt What the Jazz are doing lately is a slap in the face to their fans and their players. We are already sitting Egor and MPJ. Rest of Nets players are playing hard and deserve to win; not be benched when a guy like Clax is playing well tonight. Just let the draft fall where it may.
@NetsDaily Thank you! Claxton's contract was strategically set up so when the Nets are more competitive, Clax's contract will be a bargain in the final 2 years. And with his production leap this year, it makes no sense to trade him unless it's something Nets are blown away by!
NET GAINS: The Brooklyn Nets are 7-3 in December after consecutive road wins over the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves. Brooklyn boasts the NBAโs top defense this month, leading the league in both defensive rating and opponent scoring average. On offense, Michael Porter Jr. is averaging 28.4 points in December, the highest-scoring month of his career, pushing his season average to a personal-best 25.8. The Nets look for their fourth straight victory when they host the Golden State Warriors tonight at 7:30pm/et on NBA League Pass.
@TheGunzShow Bro cmon. Did u forget last post season already? Did u forget the overall 2nd half of this season since he came off injury? Patience. The team isn't hitting right now. We will break through this.
@BrooklynNets Terrible move! Dude was the most athletic, big improvements to overall game throughout the season. Nets continue stacking up Ls all off season. SMH
@Jersey2Brooklyn@JakeLFischer The past 2 off-seasons, Sean Marks publicly prioritized resigning Cam Johnson and Claxton. Understanding CT is a restricted FA, but Nets have not shown the same love to CT, and this report sounds alarming to not even engage. Bummer to hear. Could damage the CT / Nets relationship
@BillyReinhardt Why so eager always to trade our more established players? We have an abundance of Picks already. Our backcourt are non defensive players - Denim, CT, MPJ. We need some defense in the frontline to protect the rim. Trading Clax after his down year just to trade is bad business
@NetsKingdomAJ dammm that sounds so low for Cam Thomas. I would think CT would be worth $25m a year - so maybe a 3 year deal for $75m (and 3rd year is a Player Option) to give CT an opportunity to opt out for more money entering his Prime. Dont understand the low evaluation from the Media on CT
@thomasjamespe@NetsDaily I don't think the team operates with feeling like they need to insert a true Power Forward. It's guards, wings and a Big - for the starting lineup. If Wolf outplays them, that's great. But if Ziare resigns, I just imagine he's a starter along side CJ as the starting wings.
@BillyReinhardt Respectfully saying, When has trading every single Vet on a team worked out? Every team needs a few vets to balance out the roster - even if the team is rebuilding. Look at what Detroit did last yr. What Wizards r doing this offseason. Nets can't roll out a roster of 19-22yr olds
@DougNorrie I don't think Nets fans were ever thrilled with any draft pick over the last several years. Jarrett Allen, Levert, Claxton, Clowney. Fans always complained. And then were pleasantly surprised and optimistic. Just have to imagine the same here with this year's draft. Need patience
@AdamArmbrecht Haha $100m tax for Harper is a little insane. Seeing how unpredictable stars have emerged years later in the draft, I think nets are better off using all 4 picks and shooting their shot and hope one emerges rather than so many chips for Harper
