@SteveNomadic United Nigeria Airlines already announced they are acquiring NGs and they are currently flying 145s... it might be ok for you to say that on the pod.
Would definitely be excited to have them on Cockpit Casual. What a fascinating story.
A great shame to see @vwang3 expelled from China. I'll miss her brilliant on the ground reporting across so many aspects of China's society. One NYT reporter in country to cover a global superpower of 1.4 billion people doesn't do China justice.
Another day, another flight.
The 11am to Beijing is merely half-full today, a rarity for me.
As I am boarding Chinese Airlines are announcing that fuel charges on all flights will be reduced.

From my time in China, I have the greatest respect for Vivian Wang and her insightful reporting. Her expulsion by Beijing is shameful, illuminating its fear of the truth and freedom

A good initiative: India’s new Ambassador to China @VDoraiswami speaking in Mandarin introduces the Indian Embassy and its services. A snippet of the video that’s up on Chinese social media
@McReynoldsJoe@NeysunM I love the Chinese art and literature scene in Tokyo and stop by whenever I am in town (which I am again next month). Chang Che wrote about the Chinese creative exiles well in the New Yorker.
“I don’t understand why people hate on the Ferrari Luce” is a take I have seen a few times today.
But not understanding is precisely the problem.
Luce is the new album from an old band that wants another hit and is jumping on a trend without sharing the passion for that style.
To me, Luce is another indication that the days of Maranello being ahead are over.
Luce isn’t an F40, it’s no LaFerrari, it isn’t an Enzo or a Testarossa. It is derivative, not singular, created by people who love money more than electric mobility.
Their contempt shows.
