@beingsupm It will auto detect the faces it finds and you can review which ones to blur / unblur. Also allows for manual blur additions and PDF
document redaction. Finds faces live from the camera. All done on device nothing sent anywhere.
Meet Blurpeg. Blur faces and redact PDFs on your iPhone or iPad.
No account. No server uploads for editing. No ads or tracking.
Free to download, with one export included. Optional one-time unlock.
Demo uses fictional photos and documents.
@alexandriem7 The saved files are flattened with the blur in place. The original faces are not kept underneath so there’s nothing to unblur. An AI that attempts to do it would be hallucinating what the face would look like
Yeah Clean Up can pixelate faces, but you have to brush over them manually. Blurpeg finds and blurs them first, then you review. It also redacts PDFs entirely on your phone. No account, no uploads to our servers, no subscription. Free alternatives exist, absolutely. We’ve put both into one simple app. First export is free so you can try it yourself.
@Carlami25552231 Indeed. And only processed on your phone. Best part: you can do it live through the camera - it will show you the faces being detected and they are blurred instantly when you take the photo . Then you can manually add blur to other things like personal info you don’t want shared.
Privacy by design is a core principle behind what we’re building at Clever Iterations.
If an app can do its job without an account, tracking, location access or uploading your files, that should be the default.
Even if this is an AI-generated image, it highlights a very real issue: how much identifying information we share online. Blurring faces alone isn’t always enough. School logos, street signs, house numbers, number plates and names can reveal far more than intended. Blurpeg lets you blur faces and manually redact details like these entirely on-device before sharing: https://t.co/HknllvrKLa
Five days into a sensitive ML workflow, my AI
assistant asked me to prove I was the CEO… with a cryptographic signature.
The safeguards caught real problems.
They also built a government around themselves.
This is what happened next. https://t.co/v8Eh7ArSx6
My AI assistant was supposed to prepare one thing for a machine-learning pipeline. Instead, it spent two days building a government.
Dozens of protocol versions. Hundreds of tests.
And a constitutional dispute over one tiny subprocess. https://t.co/KmBPgUKJS8
This should be the one of the main focuses of businesses. In countries like Australia and New Zealand, there are very strict consumer protection laws and if companies engage in deceptive or misleading practices in their advertising, they run the risk of substantial penalties for both the organisations and individuals.
The person who immediately understands and champions a product may not be its buyer or pilot.
Enthusiasm is signal. Then map who owns the workflow, feels the cost, approves the change and uses the result.
Those can be four different people.

@EXM7777 AI makes it easier to create product obligations faster than you can support them. It’s no longer a case of “can this be built?” It is more like “are we actually prepared to secure, operate, support and eventually remove it?”
One product in our portfolio consistently travels furthest in a mixed room.
People understand the email problem, explain it back in their own words and tell someone else why it matters.
That repeatability is useful evidence. A clear product does some of its own distribution.
@kirtandesai Authority is the part many agent designs leave implicit. Two systems can report different answers while both remain internally consistent. The useful question is which source owns that fact, for what period, and who can correct it.
@amineexplains Founder-led onboarding is useful when it has a boundary. One short assisted setup, one real workflow and one follow-up can remove early friction and expose the gaps without quietly turning the product into an open-ended consulting service.
