Day 3 with no power in Rondebosch. Suddenly load shedding feels like a better option compared to cold showers, compromised security and the smell of spoiled food in the fridge. Fault logged and multiple follow up calls to no avail. @geordinhl surely something can be done?

We spent Day 2 of our five-day trip to the Eastern Cape at Butterworth Hospital. We learned about health systems strengthening and sustainable efforts for improving patients' surgical and anesthesia care. We also explored opportunities for collaboration.

Our team, led by Dr @Spdpleroux and Dr @HealThink , is in Mthatha for our Anaesthesia Launchpad, a simulation-based training for doctors from 8 hospitals in the health district in partnership with Eastern Cape Department of Health and @WalterSisuluUni.
