"We're a target... if this had happened at LSU, people would say ah it's LSU... but it happened at Texas Tech. They don't want to play because they know [Sorsby] is good and they don't want us to be as competitive."
Cody Campbell on schools trying to boycott playing Texas Tech
21 out of 7,000 feels like a lot but I’m curious what the normal amount of arrests at sporting events per person is. 5 cops being injured seems super high.
In a statement sent to Axios San Antonio, NYPD says about 7,000 people attended last night's Spurs-Knicks watch party near Bryant Park.
Police say there were multiple fights, property damage, traffic disruptions, 21 people arrested and injuries to five officers.
True integrity means holding your program accountable when things go wrong, not buying custom legislation or running to a local courtroom to bypass the rules.
I think this story just goes to prove how out of touch many Americans are with the rest of the country. Acting like Chattanooga is some third world country is is incredibly ignorant.
The two schools with unlimited oil money are left, there’s no issues here is an interesting take.
Idk anything about the bill, I assume it’s dumb. But seems fair to say if success requires finding a billionaire who will pay whatever for a championship, it feels broken, imo.
I went to my first Women's College World Series last night and found no evidence of the "crisis" and "broken system" they keep talking about in the Senate.
The sport is thriving, fans love it and women's athletes are reaping the rewards.

Tennessee has parted ways with pitching coach Josh Reynolds, source tells @Volquest_On3.
Reynolds spent one season in the position and two seasons on the Tennessee staff. He was the director of pitching performance in 2025. https://t.co/HuRUWNNMQD
There are literally zero things that I am confident I am good enough at under that type of pressure to risk it for any amount of money. Could be “blink at least once in the next minute for a billion dollars but if not you die” and I’d pass.
Bryce Elder is undoubtedly the Braves' most reliable pitcher after Chris Sale!! 🫡

I believe we now have evidence of FIFA's World Cup ticketing shell game: FIFA is colluding with third-party resale platforms for its own supply management.
Look at this SeatGeek map (secondary market!) for Saudi Arabia vs Cape Verde. The circled areas are not random single resale tickets, but large, contiguous blocks of seats: entire rows and swaths in sections 101/102, 112/113, 119/120, 134–137, 139, ...
The blue circles appeared weeks ago, then the purple blocks suddenly showed up a day or two ago, and the red blocks seem to have appeared recently too.
That's not what ordinary fan or even commercial scalper resale looks like who resell pairs, fours, and scattered seats. Instead, this looks like inventory being dumped in bulk onto secondary markets, at prices below FIFA's official site.
Why doesn't FIFA just lower prices on its own site Probably because official price cuts could trigger refund demands, chargebacks, or consumer-protection headaches from fans who already bought at much higher prices.
Instead FIFA keeps official prices high, avoids openly admitting the market-clearing price is lower, and moves unsold inventory through third-party resale platforms instead.
@googlehealth Custom meals is the biggest issue. I can figure out if I want to enter a custom how to do it anymore. Also, seeing macros on food entry’s before selecting. Can only see calories. Is there a way to see that?
@googlehealth I’m pretty frustrated. All I want is to track calorie input and output and it seems clustered. I can’t figure out how to see recent eaten food or add custom foods, search and frequent is all I see. Website says you can snap a picture or do conventional, is that sub only?
@LombardIsKing_ I think if that’s the case there’s plenty of use for that. Imagine having a 5 run lead through 5 and knowing you guarantee a 1 run win without using risking high leverage guys. Or a 3 run lead after 7, games over.
Everybody killing this but if hypothetical is that it doesn’t have to be earned and can be inherited. If he’s a reliever he can come and get you out of a bases loaded jam and just allow one run. Or close out a game with a big lead and eat innings. 2 run saves. May be nice.
Weird question. Realistically how valuable would a pitcher who only and ever gives up one run each inning he pitches would be? Like he gives up a homer to the first batter then 1-2-3 rest of the inning
NEW: Steve Sarkisian on Ole Miss’ transfer portal practices and academic standards:
“At Texas, we will only take 50% of a player’s academic credit hours. You may be a semester from graduating, but you’re going all the way back to 50% if you play here and want a degree. But at Ole Miss, they can take you. All you have to do is take basket weaving, and you can get an Ole Miss degree.”
