. @FedEx really are thieves. They upcharged me for an overweight package. I filed a claim through Shopify with a photo of the package on the scale proving the package was not overweight. They denied it and are now demanding photo proof of the dimensions!!! What a joke!
@naolmrg Yes… I take pictures of everything now. Most people don’t know to do that and @FedEx is counting on that which is why they auto deny every claim initially.
@naolmrg Based on my orders page, once every 35 orders. So essentially @FedEx erroneously upcharged me nearly 3% of the time. Also note - they auto-decline every insurance/damage claim at first too and claim it wasn’t packed properly. That way you have to produce pictures of the packaging
@naolmrg It’s the principle more than the money. I’ll take it to small claims court over $10 if I have to. @FedEx policy seems to be to initially auto deny every claim, hoping people just decide it’s fine. That’s wrong and I refuse to let them do it to me.
@FedExHelp I’ve filed the claim through Spotify where I purchased the label. I don’t want to interrupt that process. This is the second time FedEx has tried to upcharge me, falsely claiming a package was overweight. I think it’s a shady business practice at this point.
@TheWokestToEver@SportsCenter Because they have paid a lot of money to air it on their platform. They also do documentaries and other sport-adjacent entertainment.
.@UnboundMerino I put in an order on 7 March for a trip that’s fast approaching and I haven’t even seen shipping info. It’s the fifth business day after my order is this normal?!
@ClayTravis Global numbers will matter more. I was in a restaurant in Panama where everyone stopped to watch the halftime show. I’d imagine this was the intent above all else. Drawing new eyes globally.
