"Down With Deportations" is the chant heard by 10s of thousands in the Twin Cities. A country that cannot deport people who enter illegally does not have borders. Does anyone disagree with me when I say that Communist countries have borders, right? Or am I deluded?

The chorus of journalists who asked questions about the First Amendment is typical of people who did not see, did not hear, and did not document the activity during the ICE riots in Minneapolis. I saw these hedgehogs and much more. For example, before they erected the cement corridors at the Whipple building, these Antifa types would ice the pavement with water right outside the facility, causing vehicles to skid. Violent interference with arrests was common. Help me here, did I not see this?

A few counterpoints to the new "Good Neighbor" brand image gushed over in a recent Star Tribune article.

But residents’ collective response to the surge — “One of the greatest mass displays of neighborly love that I’ve seen in my lifetime,” as an Atlantic writer described it — has ricocheted across the internet, captivated the country’s attention and given the state a new identity.

Really? How about this:

Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office said that its deputies issued dispersal orders after protesters “blocked roadways, blocked access to local businesses, dumped glass into the street, and threw rocks, ice chunks and water bottles at law enforcement” during a protest against federal immigration enforcement operations near the Whipple Federal Building.

And here are just a few of the objects used to shut down businesses and attack law enforcement. You know, just regular police officers, not ICE, trying to do their jobs over the weekend.

@TheAliceSmith There has been a link between student loans and the rise of "gender studies," etc. When you dump your school budget, inflated by loan money, on this crap, it requires an outlet. This is a black swan phenomenon that I wish a real academic would study. Maybe they have.
