Brett Arends: "...Those five items - Social Security, Medicare, defense, debt interest and Medicaid - already bust the budget, even before the latest, insane tax cuts. And that's before you count a nickel of spending on anything else.
Don't believe me? Ask the Congressional Budget Office. In its latest forecast, the CBO said the federal government will spend $70 trillion over the next 10 years just on those five big-ticket items.
Meanwhile, they said, tax revenues over the same 10 years would total ... er ... $68 trillion.
Oops.
Oh, and that was before the tax cuts in the OBBBA (or the "Bankrupt America Act," for short). The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget reckons these will cut revenues by another $5 trillion or more.
Because when you're in a hole ... dig faster..."
@cenkuygur I used to have respect for you. But you did not condem Iran backed Hamas for slaughtering hundreds of Jewish families and concert goers, and more recently, Iran themselves, slaughtering 40,000 of their own young people for protesting. You are a sick dude, Cenk!
When Tolkien wrote about the hobbits, he was referring to the gentlefolk of the English shires, who don’t realize the horrors that take place far away.
They were able to live their lives in peace and tranquility, but only because they were protected by the hard men of Gondor.
What happened to the nice man who was brutally murdered while walking his dog will happen to all of England if the tide of illegal immigration is not turned.
It is time for the English to ally with the hard men, like Tommy Robinson, and fight for their survival or they shall surely all perish.
