In 2012 I started my business while I was homeless, sleeping in my truck and on friends couches, working 3am-11am at a factory and 9pm-1am as a bouncer.

When I got my first “big” ($7,000?) project I quit both of my other jobs on the same day and everyone I knew told me I was crazy, because there was no guarantee that I would get more work after that job was done. My friends and family tried to talk me out of it and it really bothered me how they didn’t believe in me.

I wasn’t crazy, I just knew something they didn’t. I knew in order to do the first big job properly, professionally, and in a timely manner, I had to put everything I had into it and hustle harder than I already was working 3 jobs, on one. I had to believe in myself even if they didn’t.

I did such an amazing job, that first project referred me to my second, which made me enough money to advertise, which got me my third job and many more.

14 years later, I don’t even have to hustle anymore, but I still do, because I’ll never forget how amazing it felt proving everyone wrong, and I chase that feeling every day.

Getting calls about Canada Royal Milk...

Just learned the contract to build the facility was sole-sourced to Graham Construction, no competitive bidding process. Grant Beck, the company's CEO, reportedly flew to China on a whirlwind 48-hour trip to sign the deal, and Canadians paid for it.

🚨 Canadians are NOT okay.

This guy in the truck just said what millions are feeling right now:

“I think we’re all just exhausted from having nothing.”

Two bags of groceries = $72.
Tank of gas = $60… and he filled up two days ago.
No matter how hard you work, how early you get up, or how much you make… you still end up with nothing.

Can’t afford a house.
Can’t afford food.
Can’t afford to live.

And the question he asks at the end is the one every Canadian should be asking:

Why is everyone in government getting richer while the rest of us are getting crushed?

Eleven years of Liberal rule destroyed the middle class.
We thought it couldn’t get worse than Trudeau.

Then Carney showed up and said:

I ♥️ Canada. Born here, built my life here. I used to never be able to imagine a more wonderful place to live. I never used to even try.

Canada has shifted. The shift is measurable (not just emotional).

Here is what I see now:

Housing is unaffordable. An entire generation cannot buy a home in the country they were born in.

We are taxed through the roof. And we are not getting what we pay for.

Bill C-18. Bill C-11. Bill C-63. The government is deciding what we can see, say, and share online.

Millennials are not living. They are surviving. Paying. Existing. That is not what this country promised them.

We are the most taxed, most regulated, most cost-of-living-crushed version of Canada that has ever existed.

I still love this country, but I'm looking for a second home. That is exactly why I am saying this. 🇨🇦
