@PTFblog@mclean_craig I think you have missed my point Mark. He has never signed any players, so has no track record in recruitment. All he knows to date is academy kids. That’s his level of experience. That’s all we have to go on.
@PTFblog Willie Collum to Gordon Duncan:
“What you need to take into account here Gordon, is the 6 year old boy moves aggressively towards the AI driven cybernetic death machine. In our opinion, the officials called this one right.
Free kick to Kung Fu Terminator, caution for child”
@wslgibson@PTFblog I would agree with that mate. There is always context and nuance. I just don’t believe the statement to justify the appointment and I don’t believe he was the best candidate for the job. Hope am wrong. We will soon find out.
@mclean_craig@PTFblog I’ve heard this a few times today. “Get his own players in” what players? He has never signed a professional fitba player in his puff so has zero track record in recruiting players. Not a criticism. That’s factual. Big gamble that I’d say mate.
@PTFblog It’s the statement justifying the appointment and the Brentford & Brighton patter that seems disingenuous to me. Brighton and Brentford haven’t done well cos they appointed young inexperienced managers. They have a long standing structure & philosophy regardless of the manager.
@darylbhoy@Record_Sport@ScottBurns75 Correct mate. No disrespect to the boy, might be a nice guy, but nowhere near the level required from what I’ve seen in his interim period.
@alanrew2 They look like they have chucked it as well mate. Shouldn’t need a manager to motivate you to give 100% imo. Players need a long hard look at themselves. Massive drop off since LC win.
I wasn’t sure McLeish was the guy, after today’s performance and after that interview on the radio am sure he definitely isn’t. Absolute car crash of an interview.
No fight, no motivation. Baffling subs, baffling line ups and formations. He’s out of his depth.
