Like everyone else, underwhelmed at today's news. Not a slight on McLeish but concerned that the board are being highly reckless with our top flight status.
McLeish will need full backing of fans. If it doesn't go well questions will be asked of those in charge at St. Mirren.
@samsmith1877 This.
The board are playing very loose and fast with our top flight status here bit need to get behind the guy.
If it goes wrong, questions won't be asked of McLeish, they'll be asked of those making the decisions in the club and rightly so.
@scottstafford87 It's been 10 days since we knew what division we would be in this season. Which would clearly have affected the managerial process significantly.
Let's calm down a bit eh?
Reading stuff like this definitely is encouraging that we have the right guy in place for what is going to maybe be the most important window since Oran Kearney's clearing of Alan Stubbs' many mistakes.
@PaisleyPan98@garyckerr@saintmirrenfc I mean. The update is right there in tbe first paragraph. It's progressing and club want to get it right before an announcement?
@WafflesInfo@greghamilton13@fitbatweets Believe me, I've seen plenty of him down the years to tell you without doubt that he's rotten. Technically shite, physically weak as piss.
A 30 year old centre forward whose 9 league goals this season better than doubled his previous best tally in the league? Come on.
@kieranmccord Zachary Robinson has been injured for majority of the last two years and Bruce Anderson spends more time on the deck than Captain Pugwash.
Would take Banigime though, great wee player.
Ah yes. Nothing says big time like 6-6 draws and league deciders for other teams. ๐
Meanwhile, he doesn't understand why the league cup is a flex but a 6-5 defeat in like 2007 also warrants a mention.
@Dickson_SMFC@samsmith1877 Believe me, we've seen it all at Fir Park through the yrs, bar the obvious exception that eludes us. League deciders, 6-6/6-5 thrillers, European nights, big money sales, numerous POTY Nominees/Winners ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
@killiechronicle Good footballer, great ambassador for the club.
He'll struggle though if he can't sort out the chronic issues in his foot/heel. Hope for his sake he does but it's best time for him to move on because of that I feel.
@thomson_ai25900@maildivado Dunfermline as a premier league side are a myth. Have spent like 25% of their entire history in the top division and folk still see them as a traditional top flight club.
Partick Thistle have had more top flight seasons than Dunfermline have.
