@Benjwinst We are not the institution we once was. Young players haven't grown up with Everton being a big club. Take our blue tinted glasses off why would talent come if not for money. Catch 22 at the moment
@Benjwinst At this rate I don't think the Friedkins actually understand what is going on at Everton. The wool is being pulled over them I fear from certain individuals
@Benjwinst If we get the summer wrong we could be going backwards and run into trouble. Teams in this league are on par with each other bar the top 5/6.
@adbennoEFC Unfortunately we are throwing darts and hoping for something to stick to the board. This will take years to evolve into something worthy of rinse and repeat. If the manager or recruiters go the ID of the club still remains. I can't see this happening unfortunately
@Benjwinst Are we confident going into the window and having achievable targets lined up? We simply can't wait for the right deals to fall like dominoes then make our move off the back. All that will happen is squad players that never start or get used as subs. No room for failure again
@CitizenSuburbia Last summer window exposed the challenges of attracting high calibre players to a club associated with relegation fights. We ended up not panic buying but getting bodies in that so not improve or maintain the standards of first 11. We have to pay the fees or get better scouts
@Benjwinst We need proven prem players to build the squad up. If we stick with Moyes that's the next step. He will not gamble again on shite from abroad.
@terrymcallister I used to think this but he is hamstrung at the moment with the Deadwood at the club. Build a solid bench who he can trust and I reckon we kick on
@romanhelmetguy Trump is one man who will be gone soon and America will realise he destroyed relationships with traditional allies. All the yes men around him now will be cast aside and the world order will slowly be restored
@Benjwinst Reactionary summer last time out. Too early to have the correct plan for recruitment in place and players simply don't see Everton as attractive. This is the summer to put up or shut up. Get it wrong major questions need to be asked
