@CBCNews Quit thinking of Canada Post as a business, consider it a public service. There are benefits beyond profit, and Canadians, especially in rural areas where couriers don't operate, should be able to affordably send and receive packages. Is the CBC profitable?
@PierrePoilievre Better to wait until the Foreign Interference Report is released.
Also, I don't care about the carbon tax, I get a rebate for it. What's your climate strategy?
@NoContextLaugh @hyper_high@InternetH0F The tires do nothing, the lightning can make it from the sky to your car, it has no trouble jumping the gap from your car to the ground. The metal body of the car saves you because it's such an efficient conductor most of the current passes around you through the chassis.
@20ld4ThisShit66@MikeOkuda I felt the same. The sheer injustice of it is maddening. Even after all that he still came across as a very optimistic individual in the interviews.
@jaden1342 @Ginger_Trekkie Interesting take. My first impression was bubble = bigger target so it would be less desirable for combat. But I wasn't considering whether or not a shield fully blocks, or just dampens a hit. From watching the show, the latter is probably the case.
@Ginger_Trekkie Assuming every hit to the shields depletes them a bit, the hull huggers present a smaller target than the bubble so probably make more sense from a practicality standpoint. But I like the look of the bubble more.
🚨NEW: Canadians just made history with their ceasefire calls.
Now, Trudeau’s government is going to have to respond to the demand in Parliament.
Here’s why:
@BuckAdmiral @Admiral_Andovar What a beauty! I do really like this design that sort of marries the ENT era with the TOS era. I wonder if, by the end of SNW, we'll see her refitted into the TOS form?
