Luke Fox (LAD) last night:
6IP 3H 1ER 0BB 8K
50 strikes on 70 pitches
Been intrigued and now I'm nearly all in. Let's watch the Dodgers do their magic with this one
Luke Fox…DAYUM!
Talkin’ about makin’ a SPLASH in your 1st outing of the year.

I mean, where do you start? 1 run in 6 innings is awesome, 8 Ks is awesomer, and 0 walks might be the awesomest. Sweeping breaking ball was BIG, but he also had “subtle” movers, and his fastball simply beat hitters in the zone. And, it carried the top of the zone extremely well when he tried to get above barrels.
Fox seemed to have momentum from the 1st pitch of the game, then he worked fast, so he carried that momentum through just about every pitch he threw. He’s had some good ones, likely, though, NONE better than this one. #dodgers #dodgersprospects
Luke Fox is a lefty out of Duke who made it to AA Tulsa last year. Recovered from Tommy John, let off the leash in 2024, had a full season last year, and took full advantage of it.
Advanced sequencing, execution focus, will use every part of the plate. Moves the ball well to the backdoor to steal strikes, and then to the backfoot for swing and miss, and has good velo.
4S, at 93-97. Then changeup at 87-89. The one going right is like a short slider/cutter at 88-91. The bigger slider/slurve is actually a knuckle at 82-85. So, a complete mix. #dodgers #dodgersprospects
Under-the-radar name I’m excited to see here is Luke Fox. Lefty who’s had good stuff for a few years, was a late-round Dodger draftee after he finished his time at Duke with TJ, Dodgers rebuilt the arsenal while he was rehabbing
Luke Fox turned in a good start for AA Tulsa, especially considering the length he gave and the way he grinded to give that length.
7IP | 6H | 3R | 7Ks | 0BB Fox lowered his ERA to 2.85 on the year & has 110 Ks in 98 innings.
So, he's been a workhorse, which is THE best part of this season, because he had to ramp up to being able to pitch this much coming off his Tommy John.
Fox has given up just 4 earned runs in his last 23.2 innings pitched, so he's finishing strong. #dodgers

Fox lowered his ERA on the season to 2.92 and has 100 Ks in 86.1 innings. Fox posted an ERA of 6.39 in April, but since then, his ERA has been just 2.33.
Exciting to think what this dude had done, even more exciting to think there's more to come in terms of the control & command piece. #dodgers
Luke Fox turned in a good start for AA Tulsa!
6IP | 2H | 2R | 7Ks | 3BB
The 6 innings are really great, 4th time this year he's gone at least 6. He posted an ERA of just 1.37 in May, 3.29 in June, 1.04 in July, and 3.79 so far in August.
His overall ERA is just 3.02, but his ERA since the beginning of May is just 2.37. #dodgers
Luke Fox lowered his ERA to just 1.69 on the year.
His line tonight

Ignore the 4 walks, the strike zone didn't exist!
Fox has allowed just 2 runs in his last 16.2 innings. In that span, he has 23 Ks.
Fox has been slow-played in terms of length due to past injuries, but he threw 76 pitches tonight, so pretty close to being at a full leash.
This dude is wicked good. Good velo, full mix, advanced understanding of sequencing, and he's not afraid to use the Minor League Process to find out how full his Big Gulp can get. #dodgers
Luke Fox turned in a good outing for AA Tulsa
3.2IP | 2H | 1R | 5Ks | 2BB
Fox lowered his ERA to 1.35. He has 72 Ks in 61.1 innings, his average against is just .211, and he's given up just 1 earned run in his last 12.2 innings. In that span, he has 18 Ks. #dodgers
Luke Fox made his AA Debut tonight for Tulsa, and did so by striking the side in the 1st inning, and 9 of the 11 hitters he faced.
3IP 1H 0R 3Ks 2BB
FB was 95-96, his shorter slider nailed the back door on a consistent basis, the breaking ball with sweeping action hit the backfoot and was a "swing and miss" type pitch at 82-85.
The "Ball to Strike" aspect of his slider is super effective, because he can hang it way out there, so swing decisions are tough, and so is execution, because his ball breaks late and hard. #dodgers
