The IA Dept of Health and Human Services announced it will no longer conduct 2023 IA Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). For 25 yrs, YRBS  captured data on adolescent health topics including obesity, alcohol use, tobacco, violence, and, critically, mental health and suicide.

@RandyOnEd This is horrifying legislation! I am appalled. I need to come to the statehouse to have history class. Right now I am finishing the Mississippi River District History Day competition. 234 students explored their topics. It is not a bed of roses: it is good, bad and ugly!
