@wdytyamagazine Think the format is running out of steam now. Preferred the earlier series' when there was more focus on the celebrity actually tracing a line of ancestors, now they seem to focus on one or two family stories and the experts they talk to have already done all the work for them!

Went to the American Garden at Saltwood near Hythe this afternoon, the pecan and maple cake was very nice too!

@enuffisenuff19 That is very sad. My Dad was a child in Ashford when the school next to his school was bombed. The headmistress got all the children to the shelters in time so saved their lives.

@enuffisenuff19 I've never been, my parents went a few times and said it was hard to see anything, especially my Mum who wasn't very tall! I've been to Hampton Court Flower Show a couple of times but not recently.

@enuffisenuff19 That sculpture is interesting but not the sort of thing most of us would have/want in our own humble back gardens. I think there is TV overkill with the Chelsea Flower Show these days, too many presenters, too much celebrity chit-chat, not enough on actual gardening!
