@GailSimone Wonder Woman shone, I thought. Then again, I was happy to see a lady hold her own amidst the DC Big Two in the art of Hitting Things With Things.
I would like to ask you a question, where may I do so?
The fuck I am.
I've watched Republicans defend child marriage.
I've watched Republicans take away women's right to choose.
I've watched Republicans try to deny a 10 year old rape victim to get an abortion after jim jordan called her a liar.
Nearly Everyday, there are some conservative Christian/youth pastor/religious leader in the news for child abuse.
I've watched churches lobby the government, and now there's 33 states with loopholes, so clergy don't have to report abuse. Like when the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that the state's priest-penitent privilege law exempts The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from revealing information from a confidential spiritual confession.
I've watched the Catholic Church lobby Republicans to go against legislation that would help abuse victims.
Red states also lead the country in child abuse and trafficking.
I don't listen to activists. I watch what ppl do.
Hospital staff enters my room, sees wheelchair and asks: “Is this your wheelchair?”
Me: “Yes.”
Staff: “Can I borrow it for a while to transport another patient?”
Me: “Sorry. I don’t loan my chair to anyone. It never leaves my sight.”
Don’t ask to borrow someone’s wheelchair.
@FallenLantern92@Marvel @kierongillen And to redeem himself in his own eyes. He has fallen far from the person he thought he was much less rebuild the ties with his X-family. Charles is enduring the darkest night of his soul. He needs and I think deserves a chance to make amends and find an end to shame.
The hospital is defending this by arguing 'it was a test.'
Just stunning.
"Vancouver Coastal Health, which operates the hospital, confirmed that the discussion took place but said the topic of MAID was brought up to gauge Ms. Mentler’s risk of suicidality."
