It’s official: new ONS data confirms British household are worse off than they were at the start of this Parliament - 5 long years ago. A reminder, this is not normal! This is almost certainly the worst Parliament for household living standards since 1950 https://t.co/Aj3t4FXLhw
@RussellKennedy2 Having lost an election by one vote, everyone who wants rid of this shambles needs to vote, opinion polls are worthless, only votes matter
I remember talking to a small business owner a couple of years ago who used to export small quantities of their product to Europe,Johnson and the populist right made these transactions more difficult and costly, they stopped exporting, one of the few benefit of Tory dysfunction
I simply do not believe the opinion polls suggesting the result of the GE. The @Conservatives will not be wiped out, ultimately people will vote for them despite everything. The only way change can occur is a vote @UKLabour don’t leave it to someone else,We cannot afford the Tories
@PeterStefanovi2 Somewhat poetic that Sunak brought back this ideological person into his cabinet at the end of 14 years of economic and political failure, too many people’s opportunities stripped away for no benefit, hopefully by the end of the year they can be swept away
@MikeGapes I will always remember the golden sky driving back from the count, I also remember not believing the exit poll, after 92, 1997 felt so good, what a change was made, this time the change is going to be harder, the Tories have gutted the public sector & our finances are terrible
@warrenmorgan The trouble most people are not aware of what is a statutory duty and a discretionary service, they’ll be shocked when they find this out
@RussellKennedy2 Funny they never admit their part in the 14 wasted years, or supporting the conservatives narrative about the financial crash, they are in large part carpetbaggers
